Alabama 3

Alabama 3’s Concorde gig felt rather like a homecoming show, there was such a special relationship between the band and the crowd. It must be some kind of dysfunctional relationship though, as the more abuse the Reverend D Wayne Love gave out, the more the crowd loved it. In a live set that ran the gamut of pure country to electronica, including the witty ‘You Don’t Dance to Techno Anymore’ and crowd pleaser ‘Up Above My Head’, the be-shaded onstage reprobates put on an incredible performance that was more like a live club remix of their repertoire than a normal gig.
