Brighton man charged after crash

A man from Brighton has been charged after a crash.

Sussex Police said: “Daniel Peers, 41, was stopped in Hollingdean Road, Brighton, after his car has been involved in a collision and there was a report of erratic driving.

“He was charged with failing to provide a specimen for analysis and will appear before Brighton magistrates on (Thursday) 30 January.”

He was one of 25 drivers to be charged with drink related driving offences in Sussex over the Christmas period.

In the six days from Christmas Eve to Sunday (29 December) 38 people were arrested. Of those 25 have been charged and seven bailed.
