Take the Fifth

This genuine sounding tribute band to The Clash really rocked Komedia and its faithful audience for charities Strummers and Oxfam. They went beyond the call of duty to bring great music and the original band’s spirit to the proceedings, despite the lead vocals sometimes being lost due to technical difficulties. All that aside, Take The Fifth had a lot of energy and a really tight sound overall.

Particular highlights from the start were ‘London Calling’, through to lesser well known ones like ‘Straight to Hell’, finishing with classics of ‘Should I Stay Or Should I Go’ and ‘Rock The Kasbar’. This was a band not to be missed.

Great to have Take the fifth back playing this annual Strummer remembrance event , we really missed them.
Really enjoyed the gig. Straight to hell was amazing. 2hours of Clash songs with a nice 101ers keys to your heart.
Didn’t hear problems with the vocals at all!!!
