“Rents and demand will remain strong in 2014” says Leaders’ David Thorne
January is always a busy time for the lettings market and this January is proving to be no exception. Demand for rented property in Brighton & Hove remains high, with plenty of people looking for good quality homes to rent right now, is the message from David Thorne, Leaders Brighton & Hove Senior Manager.
“As a result of the favourable market conditions we expect to see an increase in investors entering the market, looking to make the most of the attractive yields and potential capital appreciation. This is good news for tenants as it will give them more properties to choose from.
“Overall the market for 2014 looks positive for both tenants and landlords. Tenants will have more choice of quality properties in this active market and landlords are more aware of what tenants want and need. For landlords there are plenty of good quality tenants who will look after and make their rented property a home.”
Mr Thorne went onto add that anyone thinking of investing in a property in Brighton & Hove will be encouraged by the positive market conditions and that Leaders is looking forward to another busy year.
