Racing Minds

In Brighton’s busy improv calendar, it takes something unique to stand out, and Racing Minds show why they were a hit at the last Edinburgh Fringe with an inventive and engaging format. It is no mean feat to improvise an hour-long comedic play, let alone to have the room involved and laughing throughout. But this highly intelligent and intuitive foursome have a knack for conjuring memorable characters, and the yarn they spun, accompanied by their in-house maestro, delivered in every department; incorporating audience suggestions including an Australian bar, a chap named Charles and a secret stash of walnuts to satisfying effect. Every show is different, and you’d do well to catch as many as you can.

The second half brought a truly impressive solo show from member Chris Turner.
