Chinese New Year at Rendezvous; Good Energy and Diana Frangi captures Nick Pynn and Stewart Lee

Lunar New Year
Sunday Feb 2nd, 2014 marked the third day of the Lunar New Year, the most celebrated holiday in China. It was also the evening that the Rendezvous Casino in Brighton Marina chose to celebrate the Chinese New Year.

This year is the year of the horse, one of the favorite animals in the Chinese zodiac, and is closely linked to people’s lives because of its ability to quickly transport people and things.

Nick Pardo, the Venue Director who was dressed in a very macho Chinese fighters jacket for the evening said, “We have many Chinese friends in Brighton and Hove and we were delighted to be part of their Chinese New Year celebrations.”

Switch for Good
Green electricity supplier, Good Energy, has identified Brighton as one of the most sustainably focussed cities in the UK for a new campaign asking people to ‘Switch for Good’.

Good Energy Founder and CEO, Juliet Davenport OBE, said: “Good Energy is a different kind of energy company and Brighton is a different kind of city. Our electricity is made by a growing band of independent generators using the power of British sun, wind and water. We know from our research that Brighton is home to many ethical consumers and we hope that they will enjoy finding out more about Good Energy.”

The campaign, which uses the strapline ‘Switch for Good’ will include outdoor advertising and digital advertising at the train station. www.goodenergy.co.uk/switch/quote.
