Brighton & Hove City in Bloom 2014 Gardening competitions

Brighton’s Mayor Denise Cobb will officially launch the Brighton and Hove City in Bloom gardening competitions 2014 which takes place at 1pm at the Jubilee Library on Monday 24th March.

Brighton & Hove City in Bloom run the gardening competitions where communities, residents and businesses work together to improve the environment of the city to make it a more attractive place to live, work and visit.

These competitions promote a sense of pride and bring together diverse sections of the community.

The competitions are:

Best Front Garden
Best Basement
Best Window Box
Best Hanging Basket
Best Street
Best Commercial Frontage
Best Licensed Premises
Best Community Garden
Best Wildlife Garden
Best Allotment
Best Primary School garden project

Competition forms will be available at libraries, town halls, at the Jubilee Foyer for the week commencing 24th March and online at brightonandhoveincitybloom.co.uk
