Miranda Hart – My What I Call, Live Show

Miranda Hart is exactly what she says in her BBC sitcom – a jolly, tall, posh and engaging lady, unlucky in love and with more than her fair share of social faux pas. At least this is what her show would have you believe. With no small part of the evening’s fun derived from Miranda’s facial expressions – mugging, shock, cheeky – it was good the cameras were there, if a little off-putting when some asides were directed straight to the lens. Having broken down the fourth wall in television she seems to have moved it into the live arena. This aside, it was enjoyable jolly hockey sticks fun, with some sparkling ‘oversharing’, especially when showing off her innate funny bones interacting with the audience and going off script.
