Brighton Marina: Kirsty Pollard on the Easter Holidays

The Easter holidays have arrived so come and shop, eat, drink and play at Brighton Marina. Brighton Marina has so much to do to keep you busy over the holidays.

If your little one is into music, drama or singing and you’re looking for something to keep them busy, Marina Studios have two great three-day work-and-activity workshops from ages five and up. There is also a three-day Easter dance school from Tuesday 15 April – Thursday 17 April, or the act, sing and dance workshop run by West End professionals Tuesday 8 April – Thursday 10 April.

Easter gifts are in abundance so whether you’re dining or playing at the Marina, visit The Chilli Shop and buy the world’s hottest Easter egg – there is only one available and it’s right here! Are you brave enough to try it? Don’t worry, The Chilli Shop have tried to be kind with one half of the egg acting as an antidote (made with a mild white chocolate to help ease the pain) and the other half made of Naga Death dark chilli chocolate. This really is the ultimate ‘alternative’ egg.

The Marina stores have many gifts for you to choose from. The Works have kids’ craft sets from as little as £1, perfect for those Easter bonnets – a great way to keep the family creative if the weather doesn’t stay on track.

There are plenty of walks for you to enjoy, or you could play ping-pong or chess on our free outdoor tables located in Marina Square. Go bowling, watch The Amazing Spiderman at Cineworld, hop on a pleasure boat ride or have a go at fishing.

Time to get refreshed, and you’ll be spoilt for choice with our many bars, restaurants and cafés. Most offer al fresco dining, and there are some great Easter offers. The Seattle Bar And Restaurant are offering three courses for £19.50 on Easter Sunday; Coast To Coast are giving away Easter treats; Frankie And Benny’s are running Kids Eat Free Good Friday and The Parlour have designed speciality Bunny Sundaes.
