Oscar Garcia: No room for fear
Brighton head coach Oscar Garcia says there is no room for fear in their Championship play-off semi-final against Derby County.
The Seagulls host Derby in the first leg of their semi-final this evening and the Albion boss wants his players to be up for the battle.
“I will ask them if someone has fear to play this kind of game — he will not play.
You have to enjoy, you have to fight, we are good enough to be here and we will fight for our chance.”
Albion are unbeaten in eight games but head into tonight’s game with a few injury concerns, right-back Bruno and midfielder Dale Stephens will miss out due to groin and ankle injuries respectively.
Brighton’s player of the year Matthew Upson should play and striker Will Hoskins returns after a knee injury.
Oscar Garcia recognises that Derby are favourites to progress to the final.
“We were fighting until the last day and they [Derby] were in the play-offs a long time ago.”
The second leg takes play on Sunday 11th May at Pride Park Stadium.
