Oscar Garcia: We never give up
Brighton’s head coach Oscar Garcia says his side is definitely capable of overcoming Derby County in the Championship play-off second leg. The Seagulls trail Derby 2-1 from the first encounter.
“We’ve shown that we can beat big teams away from home, we never give up and the tie is very much alive.”
Despite losing the first leg at home, Garcia praised Albion’s display: “I think the performance was one of the best that we’ve had at the Amex, and I think it’s the way to go there and get the result.”
Brighton will check on the fitness of Matt Upson and Will Buckley who finished the first leg in pain with ankle and hamstring problems respectively. There is a chance right-back Bruno could return, but Andrew Crofts and Dale Stephens will not feature.
