Knife-wielding robber steals £600 from Brighton betting shop

A robber armed with a knife stole £600 from a betting shop till.

Police are seeking witnesses to the incident which took place yesterday (Monday May 26) shortly after Labrokes in Clarence Square, Brighton, opened for business.

The robber threatened a staff member with the weapon and demanded cash from the till.

Police describe the man as white, 5′ 9″ – 5′ 10″, of skinny build and wearing a black Hollister hoody with orange lettering on the chest and converse trainers. He was carrying a black bag.
