Campaigners on why the Palestinian flag should be flown from Brighton council offices
Images of the humanitarian crisis in Gaza have shocked many across the globe.
In fact they have shocked one Brighton councillor so much that he has asked local authority leaders to fly the Palestinian flag from its offices.
Ben Duncan, an independent councillor, claimed it would be a sign of solidarity to those suffering in the conflict.
But not everyone agrees – especially as the calls came in the same week the Union Jack is flying from the offices to mark the centenary of the outbreak of World War One.
