Can you help find missing Peacehaven boy?
The public are being asked to help find a missing Peacehaven boy who has not been seen since yesterday (Tuesday 19 August).
Reece Pateman, 13, left his home in Cissbury Avenue, shortly before 7pm – and Sussex Police said that his family were increasingly concerned for his safety and welfare.
He was described as 5ft 1in tall, of medium build, with ginger hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a blue hoody, blue t-shirt, grey jogging bottoms and blue trainers.
PC Diane Mitchell said: “Reece has gone missing before and has a fascination for trains and buses.
“He has previously been found at railway stations in Sussex and as far afield as London and we are making inquiries with bus and rail companies and British Transport Police as part of our search.
“However, on previous occasions he has been found very swiftly and it is out of character for him to stay away for more than a relatively short period.
“There is no evidence at this stage to suggest that any harm has befallen him but we are concerned for him because of his age.”
Anyone who has seen Reece or knows where he may have gone is asked to phone Sussex Police on 101 or email 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk.
