‘Walking Home’ with Clare Balding

Clare Balding presented her book ‘Walking Home’ in an interesting and engaging evening. Not afraid to laugh at herself as well as discuss the more serious parts of her career, she spoke as if to a group of friends. There were laughs, cheers, claps and awwws. Reading extracts from the book, about her many walks around the UK and the people she met on the way, she found it hard to keep a straight face, and the audience was right there with her. A Q&A followed. A very enjoyable night, and what looks to be an interesting, fun read.
