Wave World

It’s Monday morning and the week begins; waking up to the annoying sound of the alarm. Getting up too late, hurrying under the shower, taking a ‘coffee to go’, driving to the office, working, having too short a break with your too-chatty colleagues, working, driving home, sitting on the couch watching Latest TV … going to bed.

Wake Tuesday morning; repeat as before.

If your schedule looks similar to this one, you have to take time for yourself. In our modern world there’s not much time to take a deep breath and stop yourself from acting like you only live for others, or your work. Our Wave ‘tip’ for better mindfulness is: meditation. Brighton boasts many meditation centres to help you learn how to meditate under the guidance of experienced teachers, and find your inner peace during workshops which care for both your mental and physical health.

Change your schedule; dedicate one or two hours per week for relaxing, and free your mind in order to start your next week less exhausted as the last one ended, and enjoy yourself!
