Foil Arms and Hog

Three clearly great actors and comedians from Ireland performed some of the most hilarious and well thought out comedy I’ve seen. Although due to a small crowd (first night), the show got off to a slightly shaky start; we were all soon laughing genuinely, rather than out of awkward politeness. From an intervention staged for a T-total son, to a game of exploding beer cans, these guys are the real deal. The two most memorable moments were a dance from the ‘Who’s a Prick? You’re a Prick!’ game show that I will find very difficult to forget, and a scene from ‘the net people’ in which fishing nets over the face worked alarmingly well. It is no surprise that they sold out their Edinburgh shows; definitely see them if you get the opportunity, I cannot recommend it highly enough.
