Vegfest: Rise of the Vegans

Celebrating an animal-free diet – VegfestUK comes to The Brighton Centre

The rise in popularity of vegan food is showing no signs of abating, with 7,000 people having bought advance tickets to the massive vegan food festival, VegfestUK Brighton, on March 28–29 at the Brighton Centre.

The organisers have put together an unprecedented programme of educational and entertaining activities, including: over 180 stalls, 15 caterers, the UK’s first Vegan Comedy Festival, a Hemp Expo, a LifeWell Hub, a Party Political Conference, a Global Food Sustainability Conference, dozens of talks and cookery demos, a kids area, live music, a cinema, and more. The organisers are expecting attendance to hit the 10,000 mark when the event opens.
Advance tickets are available at £5 a day and £8 for the whole weekend. There are currently ‘Buy One Get One Half Price’ offers on advance tickets running until 21 March. Tickets are available to purchase online at www.brighton.vegfest.co.uk/admission up until 10am on both 28 and 29 March. Tickets are also available on the door at £8 for adults and £4 for claimants. Kids under 16 get free entry.
