Teechers

John Godber’s old war horse and spy glass to the education system has been resurrected by the ever reliable Blackeyed Theatre, and once again they deliver a treat. A teacher’s dilemma of sticking to his ideological principals in state education or using his skills to the full in the opulent private sector are as prevalent (depressingly) today as ever. The story as told by three pupils (who portray all the characters in a sort of end of term presentation) is performed superbly by the three actors. Full on, highly energetic, great characterisations, it’s hard to criticise it … so I won’t. Go see!
