Blue Plaque for one of Brighton’s most influential women

Now, you may not have heard of her, but she was one of our city’s most influential residents.

Dr Helen Boyle was a pioneer in the field of pyschiatry, providing free therapy for poor women across Brighton and Hove.

This week, a plaque in honour of Dr Boyle was unveiled in Hove. Jody Doherty-Cove went along, to discover more about this amazing woman.
