Storm Imogen batters the Sussex coast

Storm Imogen has caused havoc on the south coast.

Winds of up to 80 miles per hour battered the south coast throughout the night and into today.
The King Alfred Leisure Centre in Hove had to be cordoned off by police as the roof started to blow off.

Sussex Police received over 60 weather related calls this morning.
In Lancing, solar panels were blown off the roof of a building overnight.

There’s also been disruption on the trains. All direct Thameslink trains to London Bridge were cancelled from Brighton.
