Ezra Furman
It may have taken a while to get here, but Ezra Furman has clearly now established himself as one of the best live acts on the indie scene. The enigmatic frontman’s rise to fame has been the very definition of ‘slow-burn’, but six albums down the line he has certainly found his voice and niche in spectacular fashion. Combining exquisite musicality, boundless energy, refreshing originality and the type of alluring showmanship befitting Bowie or Jagger, Furman’s unrelentingly positive anarchy delighted from start to finish and put a huge smile on the face of everybody lucky enough to see this show.
