Brighton doctor’s surgery placed in special measures

A Brighton doctor’s surgery has been given 6 months to improve or face being closed.

The Broadway Practice provides services to more than 2 thousand 400 people in the Whitehawk area.

But inspectors from the CQC have today announced they have placed it in special measures.

It is the eighth practice in the city which faced with these problems in just over a year.

Health watchdogs have said they will work with agencies to improve services across the city.
