An elderly man has died after his hospital patient transport failed to arrive on time.

Sussex Defend the NHS claims the elderly Brighton man was due to have a hospital scan last month.

But he missed the appointment after contractor Coperforma failed to arrive.

The firm has said it is now investigating the incident
