Krater Comedy Club

If you have the post-Christmas, dry January, one thousand calories a day blues, then the tried and tested antidote is Krater Comedy Club. First up is Ben Norris, an assured comedian who is very Un-PC. He skates on the edge but just about gets away with it. Suzi Ruffell is a very assertive young comedian with a rapid delivery. But the brusque persona softens as she draws us into her world of mad relatives and expensive cats. Finishing the night off is the Noise Next Door, four preppy guys whose improvised skits and songs are clever but sophomoric in their reliance on crotch-related humour.
