Miles Jupp
Miles Jupp has two modes. Firstly the urbane sophisticated chap with whom listeners to the News Quiz will be familiar. We all love his plummy tones and exquisitely phrased one-liners. But he really cracks us up when he turns into a posh Victor Meldrew, losing his **** over First World problems. Don’t get him started on Duchy Original biscuits or cocktails in jam jars! It’s his delivery and fondness for verbiage that makes the night so successful. He speaks eloquently for those Waitrose-loving parents, with the dawning realisation that they have become their parents, and that their 5-year-olds are turning into them too soon.
