Iain Stirling: Onwards!

Fresh-faced comedian Iain Stirling was on fire on Friday night. His quick-witted, relevant observations and cheeky banter had the audience in stitches. Iain is a law graduate, ex children’s television presenter and voiceover for raunchy TV series Love Island. He’s also full of surprises. Fans of his CBBC presenting days saw the comic irony when he described voices urging him to punch a crying baby in the face for ruining his restful train journey. Subsequent peals of laughter from the audience prompted him to describe himself as ‘Michael McIntyre for psychopaths’. He offered a refreshing insight into society and why his own emoji-loving millennial generation is finding it so hard to grow up.
