LAID

Suspend your real-world ideas and enter with an open mind to a woman hatched from an egg before your eyes. At turns tragic and comic, the shape of it feels intangible – and that’s why Natalie Palamides one-woman show is so captivating. Being a parent isn’t easy at the best of times, but when you’re faced with the hard choice between egg-rearing and breakfast every day it’s time to jump onto the bizarre-bus and commit to this remarkable ride of difficult parenting decisions.
The show is directed by clown maestro Dr Brown, and fans of his will not be disappointed with Palamides’ commitment to the uncomfortable as well as the unflinchingly silly – tipping you into hilarity as a co-conspirator in this messy, sometimes dark, but completely original universe.
