We are Ian

In a dark basement, Ian recreates the glory days of 1989 before Thatcher declared war on acid house and soccer. In Bed with My Brother, an hilarious theatrical dance trio, sticks 2 fingers up at the establishment. To a backdrop of 1980’s video footage, we’re treated to pumping house beats, brown biscuits and dancing. Ian talks to the girls through a lightbulb. They repeat the actions he describes through dance and encourage the audience to do the same. Next thing, everyone is raving out like it’s 1989 and we’re at an illegal acid warehouse party. Thatcher would hate it. It’s brilliantly done. We start the show as individuals and by the end we are one. We are Ian.
