Tenants of private rented property throughout the South East have voted a local lettings and property specialist agency one of the very best in the UK for customer care.
Nathan Crombie and Wai Lam own the Belvoir Brighton and Hove office which has been awarded Gold for its service to tenant clients in the national 2017 Estate and Letting Agent Awards (ESTAS).

The business partners also won a’ Top 3’ award for their landlord reviews.

The ESTAS is an independent national survey unique in the property industry since winning results are based entirely on independent feedback provided by both landlords and tenants.
The Belvoir office, at 115 Western Road, Hove, Brighton, attracted a wide range of positive reviews resulting in the most outstanding ratings across ESTAS’ survey territory of Surrey and Sussex.

Nationally, over 34,000 people completed an in-depth customer satisfaction questionnaire to nominate their most professional and favourite property agent. This makes the ESTAS, now in its 14th year, the most influential and authoritative awards scheme of its kind.

TV property expert and ambassador for the ESTAS, Phil Spencer, said: “This industry doesn’t get enough credit for the work it does with millions of customers around the UK, helping to make their dreams come true.

“We live in a world where the consumer decision-making process is influenced more and more by customer reviews – so the ESTAS provides a kite mark of excellent service for property professionals who play such an important role in the home moving process.

This team encapsulates what a typical independent agent is trying to do

This latest accolade comes hot on the heels of Nathan and Wai’s success in Belvoir’s own national ‘High Achievers’ awards earlier this year when they were named Silver winners in the ‘Best Franchise of the Year’ category – contested by over 170 Belvoir branded property management offices.

Commenting on their ESTAS win, Nathan said: “Wai and I are private landlords ourselves so we know what standards need to be achieved to deliver excellent service, not just for landlords but for people who choose to rent their properties.

Wai added: “It has already been a very exciting year for us and to win two top awards at the ESTAS is just fantastic. We are particularly grateful for all our tenant clients’ reviews that resulted in the top Gold standard award because it is often easier to secure feedback from landlords rather than tenants. Our thanks go to everyone who took the time to complete the survey and provide a true picture of their own individual experiences.”

Belvoir, which has over 300 offices throughout its UK-wide network, also triumphed in the 2017 ESTAS overall, collecting a Silver award for ‘Best Large Agency Group.’

Chief Operating Officer, Dorian Gonsalves, said: “Nathan and Wai are amongst 10 of our offices to be recognised by the ESTAS this year and we congratulate them on this tremendous achievement.

“Central to our success is a continuous and vigorous drive to be the very best in the business and this dynamic partnership and their team in Brighton and Hove are a great example of this.”
