Local anger as Dyke Pub plans for renovations
A plan to restore a pub in Brighton to its former glory has come under scrutiny by locals.
Hundreds gathered outside the Dyke Pub in Brighton last night to protest against the revamp of the building which will see half remain as a pub and the other half turned into flats.
Anger began when locals noticed workers taking out the bar of the pub and now.
In response to the plans, 350 objections have been posted on the planning site, with 59 in support.
