Stargazers treated to eclipse

A partial solar eclipse will be visible across our skies tonight.

At 7.40 stargazers can see the moon touch the sun’s edge, this will be happening in the West- North West Direction so be clear to have a clear line of sight to take it in.

By 8:05 The moon will be at its closest to the centre of the sun, but as the sun will now be close to the horizon, it will be best to get yourself a high vantage point.

This is all of course dependant on the weather, so stay tuned as it follows our sport section.
