Man arrested for throwing paint over traffic warden

Police have arrested a man believed to have coated a traffic warden in paint.

The incident occurred on Monday (2 October) outside Molly Malone’s pub on West Street, Brighton. The warden was covered in white paint “from head to toe”.

The man, 45, from Bradford, was arrested this morning on charges of common assault and criminal damage.

He remains in custody for questioning.
