Countdown to Sussex Economic Forum 2017

The main topic of The Sussex Economic Forum 2017 conference is the county’s economic growth and development.

This year’s conference is taking place at the Hilton Brighton Metropole Hotel.  Around 700 delegates are expected to attend the two-day conference.

Those attending include many of the county’s businesses, members of the chambers of commerce and local government bodies.

There are a number of high-profile speakers, including, economists, politicians, local government bodies and public-private partnerships.

The speakers will provide key messages and insights relating to the future of business in the county and across the UK, as well as looking at the latest trends and provide insight into the present and future corporate markets.

Speakers include Liberal Democrat leader Vince Cable and Hove MP Peter Kyle.

Organiser Faiza Shafeek said: “The conference panel speakers have been selected because they are business professionals, national, local and international politicians, local government, chambers of commerce and education institutions representatives all of whom drive local and national economic growth, business and everything in between.

“British politics is at the heart of our country…and is, of course, central to our democracy and running of a sound and economically stable nation.

“The forum’s speakers will be some of the most astute, charismatic and knowledgeable orators.”
