The Noise Next Door’s Comedy Lock-in Xmas Special
The Noise Next Door stepped it up a notch and doubled the offensive for their Christmas special. The show was about as politically correct as a Donald Trump tweet. Former gynaecologist Adam Kay’s Christmas songs were unashamedly obscene. Guest Simon Fielder was somewhat tame in comparison, but still funny. Audience ideas were superbly synchronised into songs, jokes and funny sketches by the Brighton-based troupe. The quick-witted improvisation was enviable and ended with a surreal story about a golden snatch. At times the show was a bit laddish for my liking, but nonetheless festively funny with elements of brilliance.
