Brighton Budget announced for 2018 – 2019

The city’s budget was passed last night and the main talking points include a 6% rise in council tax and 12 million pounds worth of cuts on an annual budget of 750 million.

The tax increase equates to a £102 rise for a Band D home, and means council tax for that band in Brighton and Hove has increased close to £300 in just three years.

George Taylor was there to get the details.
