3 Those cracking folks at Bewilderbox launch their second escape room this week, Judgement DAVE, with Red Dwarf’s Holly, Norman Lovett, voiceing a mischievous and dry-witted supercomputer called The Masternet 9000. Players must pit their wits against it to solve puzzles and complete challenges in a tongue-in-cheek science fiction story.

Educate yourself with Tez Ilyas (as seen on Mock The Week, Live At The BBC and The Last Leg, and heard on BBC Radio 4 with two series of his own show Tez Talks). His new live show Teztify serves up political stand up with mischief and unflinching insight. Described by The Evening Standard as “equally light entertainer and heavyweight pontificator”, Ilyas is well worth investigating.

6 Enjoy some mid-week fun and laughter, right by Hove Station, with the return of Globe Comedy Travel. Co-hosted by Tom and Carl, promising bizarre interactive games, and a headline set from local favourite comic Dan Fardell, there’s also plenty of up and coming comedy support acts in the form of Jamie D’Souza, Naomi Gee, Lucy Bee, and Chris Jones. The ideal way to get over that Wednesday post-Easter hump.

8 ‘What Can You Do With A BA In English?’ asks musical puppet favourite Avenue Q, promptly coming up with a few harsh but funny reality-based answers. Created by Jeff Marx and Robert Lopez (Co-creator of Book of Mormon), this tale of a search for purpose, adapting to life post-education, and it all being a bit messy arrives with singalong favourites. Suitable for audiences aged 14+.
