Hatful of Rain

Hatful of Rain are best described as contemporary folk with an old fashioned feel.

The songs are as powerful as they are beautiful. Each has a story behind it – ranging from the NHS, to a refugee, to a love for Sussex. You’ll be dancing to one song and crying during the next.

The bass, banjo, mandolin and flute worked together perfectly as did the harmonies.

An engaging and intimate atmosphere captivated the audience.

I highly recommend seeing them live if you can.

A mention has to go to the Hickory Signals who provided wonderful support – definitely worth giving them a listen.
