1 It’s Pride weekend all over the city! At the heart of celebrations ranging from Britney Spears over in Preston Park to Stephanie Starlett at OhSo Social and everyone inbetween, is the Pride Community Parade. With floats from political groups, allies, faith groups, the NHS and more, it’s a reminder of the people at the heart of our Pride.

2 Start your Pride weekend early with this comedy cabaret fundraiser – Mindout For The Laughs. Hosted by the glorious Spice, with cabaret from Joe Black and diva La Voix, comedy from Debra-Jane Appleby and Annabelszki, plus headliner comic Cally Beaton. Signing by BSL Interpreters.

3 Part of Trans Pride Season is Jo Hague – If Britney Can Get Through 2007 We Can Get Through This. At 17 Jo had an episode of severe mental illness and shaved their head. Then Britney did the same. Jo was furious. They revisit that time and consider what it means to be not-a-woman without being an angry misogynist terrified of softness.
