Tiffany – Not Alone Now

Brighton’s a-buzz with Britney coming to town this weekend for Pride, but there would be no Britney without Tiffany and the ladies of the 80s. There wasn’t a gymnasium in the world that didn’t have a slow-dance to Tiffany’s Tommy James and the Shondells cover ‘I Think We’re Alone Now’ in 1987. But those now Hove Mums may not have expected Tiffany’s three decade journey into the house of rock with her tenth album ‘Pieces of Me’. The suspected Fleetwood Mac fan was channelling an Alabama Shakes and Neko Case vibe. Keeping to theme, Tiffany did a rock version of her number one hit, which was not the expected encore. Toggling back and forth from her new Nashville rock to her preteen synth, was a strange trip through the years, but she was going to let us know she was a rock chick now and told us her true “Tiff” fans would get that.
