POT

POT was an extremely hard hitting and powerful piece of writing, which focused on the untold stories behind gang culture and the reality behind it. Ambreen Razia’s words showed three extremely well portrayed characters, three different journeys. But they had similar themes of being groomed for gang recruitment and in some instances, more than what is expected of them.

Gambia Cole and Sophia Leonie portrayed a very explosive and honest exploration from both torturer and victim, whilst Whahab Sheikh explored Josh, who had a tough decision to make.

POT opened the audience’s eyes to a different world from ours.
