ESJA – Icelandic Male Choir & Resound

ESJA, an Icelandic Male Choir from Reykjavik, are visiting the UK with family and friends and stopped off in Brighton to give a very enjoyable concert of Icelandic folk songs and close harmony arrangements. The 30 or so mixed male voices sang with gusto, infectious good humour and occasional special effects. They teamed up with ten members of Resound, Brighton’s popular male voice group, who sang three contrasting songs and gamely joined in what sounded like an Icelandic tongue-twister! It was a very jolly occasion, especially as they were also celebrating a birthday.
