FAT BOY SLIM – SUPRISE GIG AT THE ALBERT PUB

Superstar local DJ Norman Cook, aka Fat Boy Slim, played a ‘secret’ pop up gig at the Albert Pub on Trafalgar street this Halloween.

The gig was to support the well known pub and music venue which is threatened by a planned next door development project which many feel, including the owners, feel would greatly affect business and possibly lead to permanent closure. Norman played a two our set downstairs for those lucky enough to attend.

The international DJ claims the venue will face a “slow death” if the building work goes ahead. A petition against the development has already been signed by over 18,000 people.
