Viktorija Faith sits down with Baz Francis, Brighton-based musician, songwriter, and founder of Magic Cat Records. Baz has built a career across multiple projects including Magic Eight Ball and Mansion Harlots, releasing five albums and touring extensively across the UK, US, and Europe. Along the way, he’s shared stages with artists including Art Alexakis from Everclear, Blind Melon and Chuck Mosley from Faith No More, and collaborated with legendary comedy actor Rik Mayall. We talk about life on the road, building an independent music career from the ground up, the realities of releasing and promoting music without major label backing, and what it takes to keep creating after years in the industry.
