Turin Brakes

The jam packed Concorde 2 had a mixed crowd of fans from all ages and a mellow atmosphere. Turin Brakes were warm and friendly, with lots of bantering with the crowd and also some really sincere moments where they talked about their families and how nice it was to be there performing for us. They clearly enjoy playing music which really came across in their sound. It was a mixture of summertime happy tunes including ‘Summer Rain’ that threw us back to the naughties! They played some songs from their new album ‘Lost Property’, with ‘Keep Me Around’ and ‘Black Rabbit’ standing out in particular. An enjoyable blast from the past with hope for the future too.
