The Big Pink
The Big Pink not being particularly ‘big’ or ‘pink’ was just one of many surprises at Saturday’s show. Another was the very interesting 2:54, a female-led four-piece who went down well with the crowd and are definitely worth looking out for.
But it was the electro-heavy The Big Pink that really surprised with a much more dance influenced set than expected.
The duo was accompanied by TWO Mac masters and some headache-inducing visuals to create a club-worthy performance.
Despite this it was still the melody-laden indie songs ‘Dominoes’, ‘Give It Up’ and ‘Stay Gold’ and that stood out most of all.
