LITTLE BU NAIL VARNISH
Little girls love to pretend they are grown up. They want to paint their nails to be just like their mum and now mums no longer need to worry about their little one using toxic nail varnish. Little BU has developed a range of non-toxic water-based varnishes for girls aged 3+. The varnishes come in a wide range of fashionable colours and are available in three finishes: cream, crystalised and pearl.
The polishes dry in two minutes and are safe for nail biters. The nail varnish can be removed with just soap and water, although a non toxic nail varnish remover can also be used. Swimming and bathing is okay too because although the nail varnishes can be removed with soap and water they will not come off
with water alone.
Little Bu nail varnishes, available from Harrords, www.harrords.com, and Bertie & Belle in Hove www.bertie&belle.co.uk, £9.95

ATHLETES’ SECRET WEAPON
Spirulina has been well known on the health scene for a few years now, but has recently been pushed to the forefront once again after being named the ‘superfood’ of 2012 due to its performance
enhancing proper ties. It’s a fantastic supplement for athletes and sporty types, as the supplement has been fou nd to increase stamina and immunity levels in athletes. The supplement is a blue-green algae which is rich in antioxidants, protein, vitamins and minerals. One word of advice, like most things that are good for you, Spirulina doesn’t taste great, It is strongly recommended to take the capsule form so you can have all the benefits without the unpleasant taste!
