Open Studios 2012, Martlets Hospice gets 10,000th lottery player, property experts meet and new bridal launch

The Sussex Property Networking Club celebrated its third birthday on 1 October. The club which is run by Entrepreneur Sean Toole features property experts who share their knowledge and experience. New collection
Leonie Claire Bridal Boutique, which showcases the very best British and international designer bridal labels, launched their new Temperley collection on 22 September with a full catwalk show in their shop in Brighton. Temperley is a designer famous for her English eccentricity, attention to detail and timeless feminine style. The event was to launch the Beatrice collection which is the latest in the portfolio.


Martlets celebrate
The Martlets Hospice celebrated their lottery reaching over 10,000 players this week. In the 12 years it’s been running they’ve raised over £1.5 million for the hospice. The lottery forms a vital part of the Martlets fundraising. With 10,000 players it will now raise £250,000 a year to help fund services and plan for the future. Hospice lottery manager, Sheila Green, said: “I’d like to thank all those who have played.”

Digital festival
Brighton Digital, Media & Technology businesses opened their doors to graduates, industry creatives, peers and the public last week during Open Studios 2012, as part of Brighton Digital Festival. Sixteen Wired Sussex member companies held various events, from practical workshops and talks to office tours, offering a unique opportunity to see behind the scenes of Brighton’s thriving Creative, Digital and IT sector.
