Scouting For Girls

Brighton Racecourse was transformed into a concert arena when popular band Scouting For Girls took to the stage. Crammed full of hardcore fans and newbies to them such as myself, the atmosphere was electric! Celebrating the release of their greatest hits album, the feel good ambience of summer was very present.

Whist some songs felt a little experimental, this band was so slick that you could tell they had a formula of 10 years’ experience. Highlights included ‘We All Wanna Be Famous’, a song dedicated to James Bond as well as a brilliant rock cover of Carly Simon’s ‘Nobody Does It Better’, and finishing on their most famous hit, ‘She’s So Lovely’.
