Adam Buxton – Kernel Panic

“I’m here to entertain you with my laptop full of bulls***” declared Buxton in the opening segment, adequately summarising the concept of his popular shows. Using a combination of videos (both shot by himself and found online) and screenshots from the internet, Buxton (of ‘Adam and Joe’ fame) dissects the culture of bizarre, unintentionally hilarious comments from anonymous users. It’s more funny and creative than it might sound however, and an animated segment positing how David Bowie came up with the impressionistic vocals for ‘Warszawa’ from his ‘Low’ album was daft and sweet, reflecting Buxton’s infectious enthusiasm for music and pop culture.
